Who we are
Calico Star is a product development and strategy firm specializing in the intersection of deep tech science and engineering and customer needs. Calico Star is managed by founder Isa Fritz, an aerospace engineer and physicist.
Isa is an inquisitive technical leader with experience supporting engineering and product development in both startups and large organizations. She is excited to grow companies and product lines, develop teams, and manage complicated, mathematically backed strategy. Isa has delivered over $1B USD of spacecraft assets to orbit over her career.
Her engineering skillsets include systems engineering, orbital mechanics, mission design, spacecraft propulsion architecture, and manufacturing. She has managed numerous commercial spacecraft and has experience in mission planning, orbit raising and maneuvering, spacecraft mechanical testing, and product development. Isa also loves learning, dancing, and playing video games. She still wants to be an astronaut when she grows up.
